Event: Using technology to gain insights into equine physiology
I am please to announce an up coming workshop on October 8th in Clonshire Equestrian Center, organised by Equine Science from the University of Limerick. The event offers CDP points to HSI, IPC and BHS.
What is the workshop about?
The advent of data lead decision making across multiple areas such as agriculture and sport has made significant impact toward evidence-based approaches in management, meeting sustainability goals, performance and welfare. The equine industry has the potential to harness sensor technology and machine learning approaches to assist training, performance and welfare given the capacity of equines to produce reliable physiological data with precision.
This workshop aims to explore:
- Understanding horse movements with the use of technology
- Data enhanced physiological insights
- Recognising stress responses in the sport horse
